The Family Behind The Team

Back in 2014, Robert was the founding member of PRS Triathlon Club in Jacksonville, Florida and had aspirations to race his first full Ironman event. Fellow club members convinced him to race Ironman Wisconsin to support the Choroideremia Foundation (CHM) and this is where the original virtual race was developed - the Ironkiwi. These event raised over $27,000 for the CHM foundation and allowed four athletics to compete in their first Ironman distance race.

Many life changes followed so those races eventually came to an end. After relocating for work, two amazing children, family losses, and life in general, we felt it was time to bring back the challenges to INSPIRE others. Not only do these challenges push people to next limits, it creates a positive environment for people to share their journey. Because what we believe, we can achieve through focus and commitment.
