Amanda lost her mom, one of her best friends, to stage 4 lung cancer in 2021. Our son was only a month old and our daughter was 20 months old when we received the diagnosis. Bringing home a newborn and raising a toddler while supporting an ill parent was extremely difficult, especially in the middle of COVID. To say every day was survival mode would be an understatement. But, we loved, laughed, and cried together until her last breath. And now, we honor her.

Shelly was one of those humans that made you feel seen and loved no matter what. There was always a seat at her table, always food or a drink to share, and she was your biggest cheerleader. Her life was far from perfect, but she always chose to smile and she never gave up. She believed in all of us. It’s that heart and spirit that we want to share with the world. We want to honor her life by believing in YOU. We INSPIRE YOU to Tri with us. Just like loved ones you’ve lost to cancer, they are all there in spirit with Shelly cheering us on to the end!
